The London Natural History Museum

This place is the ultimate playground for HDR Photography. Almost everywhere you look there are detailed arches, stained glass windows, and pools of streaming light and shadows. It’s a busy place and they don’t allow you to shoot with a tripod but it’s not difficult to pull off nice Handheld shots. Even the crowd of onlookers can help enhance the shot by adding an element of scale.

Most of the time I use the Photoshop clone stamp to remove people and objects that I feel are distracting from the subject. In this shot though, I left this curious couple alone, allowing their presence to help give life to the size of the environment.

If you toggle the slider back and forth, on the right side of the image you can see a perfect example of when someone requires removal.
