A textured experiment
Sometimes it’s easy to overlook the simple things. Sometimes there is so much around to distract your attention that it becomes difficult to hone in on small details. Venice, Italy is like that. There are so many things to make beautiful compositions out of that it’s impossible to find them all. You really have to make a point to shoot specific styles, one or two at a time.
On this day, for example, I decide to focus mainly on medium – close up detail shots. I tried to keep my shooting tuned specifically to that style for the whole day. I failed miserably of course, but I did manage to snap off a few gems here and there. This one and Test of Time were part of that failed experiment.
