Big Updates Starting Next Week!

First off, big apologies for my lack of interaction over the past few weeks. While a few of you might be scratching your heads over this statement, some of you may have noticed that my updates and comments have been tapering off. That’s about to change – allow me to elaborate.

Over the last few months, every spare minute of down time has been spent in preparation for a new life transition. Beginning March 16th, my wife and I will embark on a 2 – 3 year trip around the world. We couldn’t be more stoked about it, but in the meantime, Everything must go. We’ve been fully wrapped up in the process of getting our shit together and selling nearly everything we own. If we can’t take it with us, it’s for sale. From now on there will be no more storage units, no more home base apartments, and no more excuses. It’s a beast of an undertaking considering that, with my travel schedule still fully active, I have a remaining total of 8 spread out days “at home” to finish getting ready. Last night for example, I sold my 27 inch IMac computer along with my large Wacom Intuos 4 tablet… Let’s just say that I hope they can get the tear stains out.

For the past 2 years, even though I’ve traveled full time, I’ve always had the security of knowing that I had some stuff to come back to. I’m curious what it’ll feel like to surrender it all. Liberating, I expect.

I’m also flying back to Dubai today to settle some unfinished business with the tripod police. This time, I’m fully equipped with a Joby Gorilla Pod. We’ll see what they say about that. – But this is just a side project while I work on the main objective:

While I’m there, I’ll be updating Blamethemonkey.com to include new features, content, and tutorials. 🙂 This is big news and I’m really excited about it. So for the next 2 weeks, expect to hear about all the new features and news in production. I’ll detail more of the plan in the next few days.

So while the time zones pass me by today, know that I truly appreciate all of your continued support. I’ve been working very hard and I have a lot of exciting new stuff planned and with tremendous excitement, I can say: Stay Tuned.
